　この情報操作が真っ赤な嘘であることは過去の政権が証明してくれる。

　マスコミとお友達であろうとした安倍内閣は、そのメディアからの批判の前に倒れた。マスコミと協調関係にあった麻生政権は、そのメディアからの「漢字の読み間違い」などのリークで崩壊した。

　一方で、政権発足からわずか2週間でスポーツ新聞を官邸に引き入れ、歩きながらのぶら下がり会見を中止して、数ヵ月間にわたる記者クラブメディアとの抗争に勝利したのは、小泉内閣の飯島勲秘書官だ。その後、5年半の間、それ以上の反発は記者クラブメディアから起こらなかった。

　就任直後、週一回の記者会見のみならず、知事主催の記者会見を追加したのは、石原慎太郎都政の高井英樹特別秘書だ。結局、記者クラブの開放はなくなったが、その後10年の都政の中で、石原知事側がメディアからの決定的な攻撃を受けたことはない。
